Spyderco Native

Post by philco »

Here's a Spyderco Native that I recently added to my tactical lineup. It came razor sharp (what else would you expect) and ready to rock. With CPM S30V steel it should hold an edge till the cows come home. The jimping on the back of the blade allows for excellent control. Theres an enlarged choil that affords a choked up purchase of the knife for more precise operations. I've been packing it around for about a week and so far I'm quite smitten with it. For now at least, it's bumped my SOG Mini-Vulcan from its throne in my pocket but that's not likely to last forever. I really appreciate the safety that the lockback design offers. Anyhow I just wanted to share it with you fine folks. Here's a pic.

I carry mine alot, in fact it is what I drop in the pocket for church, low profile etc. "Any way love the blade shape, and that S30V when sharpened on the old Sharpmaker, will take a fantastic edge.

At 3.9" closed, it's much larger than the pictures would make it appear. I do like that blade (in the plain edge model).

I like the handle of your knife Mitch, the color pink is very attracted and very feminine.

Great knife, Phil.

I have exactly the same knife as a long-standing member of my rotating EDC.

But we seem to keep doing that … :)

Nice review.
