What?? No one received a new Kershaw during the last year?

This 3000A (USA made DWO) came in yesterday's mail and it's ORANGE. ::ds:: It's used and the blade is dull but it's never been sharpened and still has the factory grind. It cleaned up quite nicely with a toothbrush and some Fast Orange. I just love these little knives.

Been off and on about the Blur for a long time. Finally folded this morning when I found a new, NOT a blem, at what I consider a decent price and hit the "come to daddy button". I really wanted a red one but this Desert Sand & Black variation will do just fine.

The sellers picture isn't the best in the world but it will fill the void until the knife gets here. I'll get some better POP pictures when I receive it. (POP = Proof Of Purchase  )

Nice looking Blur Jerry....I like the desert brown and black. Be careful you don't drop it on one of your frequent forays into the desert, or you will never find it again! What are your thoughts on the knife now that you have it in hand? Standard Kershaw quality? I handled a Blur a few times and liked it just fine. Seems like a solid knife.

Aye, laddie. That it is, but I think I'm getting the hang of it. Only six more months and a quarter inch callus on my thumb should do it.

I like everything else about the knife. Blade is centered very nicely. Sure would be nice if they had just extended that tang into a flipper.

Six months and no one has added a Kershaw to their pile???? That's just pathetic.

My granddaughter came up this weekend for a visit and I remembered I had not given a knife to her (how could I have missed that. Good God, the girl is 20 years old now) so we remedied that. I drug out my Kershaw storage folder and we perused a few. I thought she would go for a Scallion (her mother has one) but she felt more comfortable with the Leek. Went to eBay to browse the available Leeks and as luck would have it, this one in Teal caught her eye. The better luck was the auction ended in less than an hour. Set my snipe program and snagged it for a very decent price. To save on shipping costs, I just had it shipped directly to her.

Scott was kind enough to sell this Chive to me. It's my only one. I had a red one several years ago but sent it back to Amazon. I wish now I'd kept it. Oh, well. ::facepalm::

I unsuccessfully tried to scrub the Snap-On etch off the handle with Mothers. Now I wish I'd left it alone. ::doh::

This is starting out to be a wishful day. ::tired::

  I tried the 0000 after the Mothers. The etch is just that, etched into the steel. What made it stand out was something black in the grooves of the etch. All the 4-0 did was scrub 'some' of the black out. It would take sandpaper to get rid of it completely. Oh, well. It's just a place holder and a fascinating little knife to play with (loves me some Speedsafe®). One of the things I like about it is that it's a framelock.
