Nail nick and shield differance in some XX ?

There were 37 knife patterns manufactured in the early to mid 1990s that make up the Case Classic line of knives. They are the product of Jim Parker's realization of a dream to replicate classic knives of many years past.

Nail nick and shield differance in some XX ?

Postby cbnutt » Mon Dec 10, 2018 12:02 am

Trying to learn all I can about differences in the 18 pattern XX stockmans , I noticed some have the nail nick farther back to the end than others , (clip) the ones I have with the nick closer to the bolster end also have a larger shield than the ones that don't , and they appear to be more of a regular clip blade than the Turkish clip ,is this pretty well normal of that era ? Thanks .
