The Beauty of Ebay

I think I am right here in thinking this is a Case Classic made in the 1990's? Seller has a lot of explaining to do. How could a knife made of metal lay in the ground for 70 years and not turn into a solid block of rust? Only he can explain that. I'll bet if you tried to tell him the knife was made recently he would be mad enough to fight. The ebay auctions used to carry a warning that said "caveat emptor" which meant something like - buyer beware. Hopefully no one will buy into this story and get torched.

That's a good one. I wonder how he figures that 70 plus years underground if the house was built in 1950?

We had a fellow in Cumming, Ga. by the name of Junior Samples that could reel of those tall tales like that just one after the other.

There was also Jerry Closer, A.K.A; "The Mouth of the Mississippi."
He was a funny guy, and that boy could spin a yarn seven ways to Sunday! ::nod::

But the Truth is you do find a lot of tall tales down on the Bay.
