...1996 Case Classic Cheetahs...

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Here are a couple of prototypes. How do you tell what year they are. The swing guard will not let me see the last two digits of the year.

The Case Classic Cheetahs were made in '95 and '96. They were made on contract by Queen Cutlery.

I bought something off feebay a couple of years ago(don't remeber what) and the guy sent it to me in one of the Bradford tins. Doesn't have the liner in it. Wonder where I could get a liner for it?
