CASE XX CLASSIC 62050 TRANSITION RARE ELEPHANT SUNFISH

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

It could be right. Not saying it is or isn't. But I own transitions of this nature in other patterns, that I bought when they were released.I dont see anything in the photo's that would make me doubt it, but limited photo's=limited knowledge. Hope this helps.

It might be possible that the knife was sent back to Queens for repair after they were out of the 1994 blades
and they used a 1995 to repair it.

Actually, the knife was made by Queens under a license agreement between Case and Jim Parker. Blue Grass Cutlery was the marketing firm and shipping firm. A very high quality knife, and yes, it could be a transition knife as well.

The Saddlehorn, Congress, Trapper and the Gunboat patterns were made by Case ..... all of the other patterns in th Case Classic series were made by Queens. Please note : On page 64 of " Case Classics, Best In The Long Haul " it is stated that SOME of the early 91 whittlers were also made by W.R. Case & Sons ::hmm:: interesting read !!!!
