Case 9200 CV 1992 Copperhead Trapper has some really cool acrylic handles.

Those 00 pattern trapperheads are an interesting variation.
I'd say your 9 prefix means it is imitation black mother of pearl
Apparently an SFO item (avail in various handles) since even Pfeiffer's book
which is focused on regular production does not include the 00 copperhead
alongside the 00 melon tester. Steve did later mention that time & space
limitations had some bearing on content. Anywho......
First one I found was a YO200 yellow bone promo for Cofer Bros. in Tucker Ga.
They had a different Case promo knife made each year and had them all displayed
in a case inside the main entrance.
After I got it home I called Jim Runyon at Case to see if he had any background on it.
Took him awhile to remember it since it didn't come up in his catalogs but when he did
recall the trapper blades with the copperhead handles his comment was:
"oh yeah, that was a strange duck".
2nd one I ran across was with a flea market vendor I had gotten some knives from previously.
Some of his buddies were there debating why the knife had stag handles but had a 6 prefix.
When I looked at it, realized it had a G06200 green bone blade in a 5200 knife.
Figured the good ole boys read the G as a 6 which isn't hard to do.
3rd one I found floating in the Bay with a BK0200 black bone pattern #.
Interesting that the yellow and black just have the letter prefix w/o the 6 for bone
while the green bone blade does have both a G color prefix and the 6 for bone.

No he's not Bob. He picked 327 and the winning number is 331, so the winner is 4 numbers UNDER the numbers generated. Are you having a "senior's moment" bud? LOL! 8)

I hosed that up the first time around and then "fixed" it so all is right with the world now. My bad.

Thank you jerryd6818 for your generous donation! I truly feel blessed to be the recipient of such a gorgeous knife! Case knives are my personal all time favorite and this one is going to reside with my other "special" Case knives. Thanks again so much!

Thanks bestgear for the winning notification and for all those who have sent a congratulatory message.

I'd like to take a moment and give praise to God as He has blessed me so much more than I deserve.

6:30 AM - I woke up this morning to a beautiful steady rain. We have been in a severe drought here in southwest Oklahoma for many months now. It's so bad that I am down to my last few bales of hay to feed my cattle. No one in my area has hay for purchase. The outlook is bleak...

7:00 AM - I receive an email from AAPK that I have won the August knife give away! I have to double and triple check to ensure this is not a hoax or a spam email. Apparently I really have won. WOW!!!

9:00 AM - My phone rang and it was a gentleman from Indiana informing me that he is shipping me the first of four semi loads of big round bales of hay for my cattle.

Three tremendous blessings all by 9AM! God is GREAT!!

Anywaaayy... I've rambled on long enough. Guess I'm just giddy for all the blessings I've received today. Most battles are won on your knees, so keep praying.

God bless you all!

Keith - in my brief journey on Earth I’ve come to learn that each day is a blessing, some more than others like your day today. It warms my heart to hear that your livestock will be fed and your pocket will be filled with all things Case. I agree with you Keith, God is Good ::nod::

As you can see, the PM was sent today @ 9:40 PM (click to enlarge). I don't have a clue why it wouldn't show up on your end.

.....but in the end, everyone's a happy camper, including me, because this month, Keith knew how the game was played and responded to my PM in less than an hour. Another sincere TY to Jerry for his kind donation and shipping readiness so that Keith's new knife would arrive as quickly as possible. Good job all around! ::handshake::
