April 2022 AAPK Knife Giveaway

This month Rdubya21 (Randy) has gone above and beyond by donating a knife that he specifically ordered for the AAPK Monthly Knife Giveaway – a Buck custom Shop 503 Prince with very special Elk Horn Covers. Buck craftsmen were hard at work on this one making sure every detail is perfect for you based on Randy’s specific order!

The Buck Custom Shop starts with a standard 503 Prince which features a drop point satin finish blade made from 420HC stainless steel and is 3 3/8” closed. Randy then chose the covers he wanted from Sunset Jig bone, Oak, Water buffalo, Buckeye Burlwood, Ironwood, Elk Horn, Ruby Red Jig bone, Sambar Stag, Cherrywood, Walnut or Black Palm Wood and 6-8 weeks later his Custom Buck safely arrives at his home ready for the AAPK giveaway.

Instructions for entering the giveaway...

Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 999.

You will have until April 30th (6:00 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number after which entries will not be considered. The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on April 30th. The individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

You must be 18 years of age or older to play and an AAPK member in good standing on the day of the drawing. The first-place winner will be sent an AAPK Private-Message (PM) after the drawing and will have 5 days to respond with contact and shipping information. If the first-place winner does not respond within 5 days, the knife will be offered to the next player on the list without going over.

The next-place winner will be sent an AAPK PM, and they will have 3 days to respond with contact and shipping information. If the next-place winner does not respond within the 3 days, the knife will be offered in the same manner to the next-place winner on the list without going over.

That is just BEAUTIFUL! Thank you sooooo much Randy for an awesome donation to the MKGA. If April doesn't break 120 entries or more, I'll be shocked. This is one gorgeous knife that one should not pass up trying to pick that 'perfect' number. Good luck to all who enter.

Wow...an absolutely stunning knife that was commissioned specifically to be given away. That is a truly generous act from Rdubya21. And thanks to Tom for hosting the giveaway!
