August 2018 AAPK Giveaway

This month Mountain Man Knives (Jeremy) is donating a handmade fixed-blade knife with a Stag Pinned Pommel, Black and Red Fiber Spacers and a Nickel Silver Guard! Thanks for your generosity ::tu:: ::handshake:: Here's what you are playing for:
Handcrafted by “Always Learning Something J.R. Turner”, this month’s donation is a handcrafted Stag Pinned Pommel Fixed-Blade Knife with Black and Red Fiber Spacers and a Nickel Silver Guard. This knife is 11 5/16” Overall in Length with a 6 ¼” Blade Made from High Carbon Spring Steel “Typically 5160" and Heat Treated and Tempered for a 58-59 Rockwell.
Instructions for entering the giveaway...

Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 1000.

Please note you will now have up to 6:00 PM Eastern Time to pick a number on the day of the drawing not a day before like previous drawings!

You will have until August 31 (6:00 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number. After this time, an official "Final List" of the entrants will be posted in this thread. The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on August 31. The Individual closest to the selected number without going over will win. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:

You must be 18 years of age or older to play. The winner will be sent a PM after the drawing and will have 10 days to respond with your name and shipping address, if you do not respond within the allotted time the knife will be given to the next closest winner on the list without going over.

I wouldn't call it necessary a deal it is a gift and a deal is when someone else gets or gives something in return - anyways I am pretty happy about being capable of sewing this sheath using a old singer sewing machine I just picked up - before I was using a drill press - so this was a big improvement for my hobby and cuts the time and energy down quite a bit - still took me about Two Hours or so to make but beat the Drill Press by a Landslide
