These could be fun!

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

I'm pretty sure I had one of those as a kid.
My mother was never very happy about it for some reason. Something about potatoes in the lamp shades or some such thing.

I had one as well. If I recall correctly, it was made by Schylling, and I bought it from Cracker Barrel probably 15 years ago. I got it confiscated as I went through a TON of potatoes.

My mom actually thought these were pretty cool and bought one for herself--after I was old enough that it wasn't "cool" to me any more...

Same with the refrigerator magnet that said "Life is uncertain; eat dessert first!"

We bought our boys some for stocking stuffers several years ago, they had a blast with them for a while.

Never had one of these but years ago when I was about 8 years old my Grandad made a couple of rubber band guns using sticks and clothes pins. We had many epic battles with those. Brings back memories. Really miss him.

Funny you mentioned those! I can remember having more than a few of those as a kid.
Of course back then having a toy gun wasn't frowned on and shooting little Jimmy with a rubber band didn't result in a lawsuit or an expulsion from school.
I miss the days when common sense was common!
