BIG-TIME!!! "small talk "

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

That's ridiculous. My printer needs some fresh ink, and I better not have to pay such an exorbitant amount! Walgreen's used to refill them, so I'll have to see if they still do.

Hi folks,

Just felt like chatting this morning. Nothing important.

It's been a very dry & hot summer over here in Europe. Lakes, streams, ponds & even rivers drying out. ::doh:: Should finally cool off a bit come thursday. ::tu:: We may even get a few showers here & there today so I am hoping we will get lucky & catch a shower or I'd even take a thunderstorm. No air conditioning in 95% - 99% of the houses over here. All we have in our house is fans. We'd like to fire up our BBQ today and are hoping for rain so it's not so dang hot outside. We haven't got to cook out almost all summer due to the heat. I don't enjoy BBQing when it's too hot outside. We have a large car port for shelter from the rain if we do get any. ::shrug::

I have a week of vacation time this week so I'll probably post a bit more this week. ::doh::
I'd like to build another short piece of fence on the other side of my wood shed but I am not going to get out there & kill myself if it's too hot. Or at least that's what I keep telling myself. Anyways, not today because it's a religious holiday in my state of Bavaria, Germany. Not even sure what it's about but it's as good a day as any to fire up the grill if the scattered showers keep the temperatures down a little. ::nod::

Take care & stay safe friends, ::nod:: ::handshake::

Just shaved off all the hair on my head. Might help me beat the heat just a little bit. ::nod:: ::super_happy::

Add: Sitting outside taking a few knife pictures. It's cloudy, overcast & ::paranoid:: (I'm almost affraid to say it) ::paranoid:: "cool" or at least not hot. ::groove:: ::ds::

Must be the hair cut. Should have done that sooner. ::super_happy::
