Happy Birthday America!
Being in the heart of where the majority of our independence began (I'm 7.5 miles from Independence Hall), we took a trip out to Valley Forge. Center City Philly would have been a traffic nightmare.
A couple of pics.
Valley Forge was where the troops hunkered down for the winter of 1777-78.

One of the most humbling experiences I've ever had while traveling was visiting the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. Great pics of other symbols of our nation's heritage, Steve!

Steve, those pics, wow! I’d love to see that myself, very humbling. I remember as a high school student visiting Mt. Vernon and just being overwhelmed. What an amazing place Valley Forge must be.
