Good grief, you guys have no idea how good you have it. Around here regular is between $3.25-$3.50. My car needs premium so I'm paying $3.75!! Every day on my drive to work I am looking at 5 oil platforms right off the coast, yet we have the highest price for gas in the country!

You're probably shipping the oil...to Texas...to get refined. Wouldn't want to mess those pretty beaches up. $4 is nothing to those Hollywood folk ::smirk::

Taken from Gas Buddy for our area (pretty much Winnebago County - Boone County is almost always cheaper.)

$1.90 at Kroger, lower with the discount depending on how many credits you earned with your accumulated purchases.

We're back home on the Crystal Coast; gas is running from a low of $2.09 (on the mainland side of the bridge) to a high of $2.29 (on the island). OH
