I don't keep track of this sort of thing so for those like me, here are the historical stats.

Great finish to a great game; played by outstanding young men on both teams. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

I'm a bit ambivalent or conflicted re' the game.

I spent the first third of my life pulling for Navy because my Dad, a WWII Navy veteran, did.

Then I joined The Army in 1967 and essentially pulled for them since.

I'll pull for both in their respective bowl games, as I would for The Air Force Academy.

Today's game was great and very similar to last year's except for the weather conditions.

I don't understand how anybody can play in such conditions. I cannot tolerate frigid temperatures.

Interestingly, it appeared the Cadets on the field after the game pretty much assumed a dressed-right-dressed orientation for the Alma Mater.

I wonder how many ankles were sprained jumping off that wall.

That's the great thing about this game. No matter who wins, it makes you proud of our young men and women in the armed forces.

Taken from my porch yesterday, mid afternoon. We ended with five inches on the cars.
