Knives, Guns, and NASCAR

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Knives, Guns, and NASCAR

Post by XX Case XX »

For whatever reason, most of the people I know who are into pocket knives also like guns & NASCAR. Also, most of the people I know who are into guns like knives and NASCAR. Then, most of the people I know who are into NASCAR like guns & knives.

And of all those put together, the majority of those folks, I feel, are responsible, patriotic, and law abiding citizens. I wonder why that is?

That is easy to understand sir...
NASCAR is as southern as grits. It was born here (or there).

People in the south were pioneers, and pioneers need knives, and guns to live. The folks that headed west needed what?
I don't even know...

When you NEED an item to live, and the conditions are miserable that item becomes an heirloom.

I did notice one thing you left out of NASCAR, Guns, and Knives... Hootch!
Where did the "Whiskey Rebellion" begin, and end? What funded the growth of this nation? Where does the worlds best Bourbon come from? Well the ONLY Bourbon...

Combine fast cars, guns, knives, hootch, and you have one heck of a good weekend! ::ds::

Edit:
Whatever happens you do NOT want the law involved=Law abiding citizens!!! It's ingrained into us. (so says the lost Yankee boy)

I hear ya Ray. I have a buddy of mine that is big time into it. He tries to tell me about the strategy involved and I just can't make myself watch them go in circles 500 times. But I do like old guns and knives.

It's just that easy!

If I never post again it is because my neighbor ERIC BARTHEMIOUGHISSTRIENBURGH saw my post, and did not agree.

I like knives ... user knives.

I like guns, but I'm not at all active in that hobby 'cause I can't afford it . . . ::facepalm::

Absolutely don't give a hoot about NASCAR. I live an hour away from Talladega,
which is this weekend, coincidentally. Been invited by family and friends many times.
Nope.

April, 2016, my son won two tickets to the Saturday race at 'dega.
He wanted to go, just for the experience and to say he's been. So he and I went.
400 lap race. At lap 275 kid says 'let's leave at 300 laps' .. .. .. ::tu::

Not true. If you make it the way it's supposed to be made, you can make Bourbon outside of Kentucky and still call it Bourbon, you just can't call it Kentucky Bourbon. Bourbon is my favorite liquid gold.

I never developed a taste for Bourbon, and I've tried... ::nod::

My guilty delights are Saphire gin, Cutty Sark scotch, and 100 proof spiced rum.
