Thanks guys. This morning I began my 41st year by fixing a hole in the fence here at the new Poverty Plantation and proceeding to get my truck stuck. Lol.

The only difference between a 1047 and a 72 is the 1047 has the Scout shield and no pattern number stamped on the pile side of the main blade tang. Same bat bones.Colonel26 wrote:Thanks guys!

True. That's what I was trying to get at. Lol. I know they gave it a different pattern number, but I still call it a 72 in my own mind.
