Something that Pederson did that I don't think Andy Reid the ex coach, would have done had it occurred to him. In the 4th quarter after Philly scored the FG they had to kick the ball to NE. The kick was short, forcing NE to field and attempt to run the ball back, chewing the clock. Intelligent move. ::tu::

I know this.....Tom Brady is a great QB who is an _________!!

He lost the SB and walked off the field without shaking the opponents hand....total loser! Huge!
Montana, Peyton, Kelly would never stoop to that level of disrespect.

Peyton Manning skipped the handshake in 2010 after losing to the Saints.

Scroll down a bit and there's even a link that will show a video of Manning "stooping to that level of disrespect."

As a native of Maine, graduate from Dover, NH, I am a Pats fan, but I do not condone what Brady did. Just poor sportsmanship.

I'm shocked.....amazing. Manning always portrayed the image of cleanliness and purity and wholesomeness....
I'm not shocked with Brady however.

The Colts held their camp here in Terre Haute for a number of years.
I never had any personal interaction with them, but I knew a lot of people that did (EMS, security, local restaurants and bars).
According to these people almost all the players were jerks including Manning.
When they left TH just about everyone who dealt with them on an everyday basis was happy.
I can't speak for the fans.

I am a follower of Ohio State football and was reading a profile of an incoming freshman defensive lineman Taron Vincent. He is s 5 star recruit out of Florida. It asked if there was anything unusual he did and he said he collected antique pocket knives.Personally I see nothing unusual about that at all,but for an 18 year old African American I'm sure it is.He dad is Troy Vincent who played in the No Fun League for several yesrs.
I guess he will be my new favorite player. ::tu::

The older Vincent played for the Eagles and may still be involved with the players union. Very good player in his day and on the personal side I don't remember anything negative. Sounds like he may have done a good job with his son. I hope so. ::tu::

Well Charlie, I went to my favorite kind of football last night, in the rain - a high school game! The rain stopped in the second quarter, just in time for the half-time ceremony to honor the 20 year anniversary of the 1998 State Championship team that my son was part of. Talk about making a guy feel old - I didn't even recognize some of the team members that came back for the ceremony (bald heads and gray hair)! Some of them have gained some weight and some have lost a lot. A lot of beards too.

Gdogg I've been boycotting them too. No way I'm going to watch players who disrespect the flag and our national anthem.

I'm happy to report that my Kentucky Wildcats, quite uncharacteristically are 6 and 1 on the season and 3 and 1 in SEC play, having only lost to Texas A&M. I'm not going to crow about it, but I'll just express my appreciation for what a fine season they are having thus far.

I have expressed my team spirit here before,
and received the ire of a couple members for my trouble. . . . .
quite rudely as I recall.

I too have been boycotting the NFL for the last 3 years. I have certainly been enjoying baseball though, it was always my favorite sport and now I've got a good excuse to watch it more. The other thing I noticed about not watching the NFL is I have a lot more time in the winter to do other things especially on the weekends.

I think the Seahawks choice to stay in the tunnel and not come out until after the national anthem is played is it pretty hen house move! Talk about not having a spine! If you believe in something and stand up for it. I can respect that even if I think you're dead wrong. But when you try to waffle and placate everyone without really taking a stand all it does is severely annoy me. I think the NFL needs to grow a pair and tell the players that if they take a knee or in any other way disrespect the flag and the United States that they will be suspended without pay until they comply with the regulations.

I used to be a big Seahawks fan and my wife retired last year so we now have the time to go to Seattle, visit grandkids up there and take in a game. We had planned to do that when she retired but neither of us will even watch the NFL anymore. That used to be what we did on Sunday afternoon was watch football, now we do other things. We also have not purchased any NFL team products since this boycott. With about 15 grandsons we were always buying NFL hats or jerseys for grandkids, but not anymore.

I don't know that our boycott affects them very much at all but I think if a million fans stop watching their games and buying their products I think the NFL may eventually wake up, but maybe it's too late, maybe they drank too much Kool-Aid.
