It's "fixin to" to be accurate. As in, "I'm fixin to sharpen my knife."

Haven't kept up much with the NFL for several years, but the playoffs this year have had some interest to me. I watched Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn (and later his son) play football in high school, and in college at Texas Tech (his son played for Penn State after high school and now coaches for the Houston Texans). I know the family. So I was pulling for the Chargers to win for his sake but that ended. Good season Chargers!

Also a big fan of Patrick Mahomes, whom I also saw in high school and at Texas Tech (he's one reason Baker Mayfield transferred to Oklahoma). So I guess now I'm a Chiefs fan. Saints/Chiefs Super Bowl!

It really could go either way with the AFC / NFC Championship games. I'm Guessing a LA RAMS / KC CHIEFS Superbowl but you never know!

I'm a Pats fan, so rooting for them, of course. Belichick has proven he can beat Reid in bigger games.
If KC wins, I'll root for them in the Super Bowl. I really like that kid Mahomes.
As far as the NFC, I'll start rooting for the Rams since they're the underdog. Then, as the game goes on, I'll root for whoever is behind!!
