Miscellanious Videos That Don't Fit Anywhere Else

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Always enjoyed Red Skelton. He was more of a clown than a comedian.

He did an annotated version of The Pledge of Allegiance that was quite good.

Both those truck trains and large object movers are pretty amazing.
Must be a little tough to parallel park the truck train... :)

Found this on Real Clear Politics today.

Interesting little movie.

Don't really know how to feel about it.

Got to admire the men that can do that, why they did it and what was probably done with it, but man, I wish they had not cut down all those trees.

I remember in the mid-fifties when one of our neighbors built a privacy fence with California Redwood.

Thanks for posting this Charlie. It's pretty awesome.

There are still some stands of Coastal Redwoods growing in the mountain range between Stanford University and the Pacific Coast. I've heard there more in the costal range north of the Golden Gate Bridge. I had pictures but they were in the bin of pictures that were destroyed by the 2006 flood.

This is the video Charlie linked to.

From the Internet and for those who haven't seen them, yes, they are that big. Picture doesn't really mean a lot until you've seen them up close and personal.

I had no idea there this many stands remaining. Click twice to get the full image.

I see three. One in the snow at the base, another with a yellow coat about a quarter of the way up and one almost at the top with an orange coat on. Are there any I missed?

These behemoths are humbling to stand next to.

Jerry, in the original post, there were multiple photos showing several men up in the tree.

I only posted the one shot of the whole tree and I, too, can only find three.

I think there are some men that are obscured by tree branches in that shot.

There was one close up photo of the man in yellow/black beside the trunk and there were at least two others at that same height out in the periphery. I think they're there in the far away shot, we just cannot see them.

Did you notice the lightening rod extending beyond the top of the tree?

They have to be YouTube videos. Over in the How To Forum, you'll find a Tutorial on how to do that, here: ---> http://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/kni ... 98&t=48256
