Thanks for all the sympathy guys, and the willingness to bring the temperamental beast into your homes. True bravery. Actually, it looks somewhat worse than the reality. Worse cut ever was from dropping a CS Scimitar which opened up the side of my bare foot like an over ripe melon. Now that was a cut for the books.

This snappy little devil just came in yesterday's mail and the cheeky little whelp immediately bit me. At 3¼" closed it should have been easy to keep track of where my fingers were but the main blade is very snappy and quick as a snake. It just barely broke the skin but still.............

Philip, it's been my experience that when I get a new kitchen knife and cut myself with it right away, it turns out to be a good'un. And yeah, it's from "over there" but I don't think it was a malicious act. More the fault of the dumb a** operator.

Not to be out done by a brother Marine at Christmas time, I slightly sliced the end of my right thumb after opening a package that contained a Bear & Son C254. Used my extra fine TB62028 Teardrop to slice the tape and paper on the Bear & Son wrappings. The Teardrop slide off my lap into the side of my recliner and like a dummy, I just stuck my paw down in there and found the pen blade with the end of my thumb. Killing two birds with one stone, showing my booboo and my new C254. I must say it's only bad point is an extra shallow nail nick on the spay blade, nice fit and finish, factory edge was smooth but not really sharp. I like it even if I did cut myself opening it!

First one in a while. It seems like no matter how big or small it always bleeds like a stuck pig.

Nice slice Paul. Don't you feel fortunate it's over towards the side instead of on the tip of your finger where all those nerve endings are?

I certainly do Jerry, and cuts on the tip of the finger really get in the way of using them.

This sneaky little devil bit me. Again. That's twice. You'd think I'd learn but nooooo. The main just gets barely on the south side of 90º and BLAM, it closes like lightening. It's a viscous little critter. I'm thinking it's the knife's fault because it has too much snap.

I have got to learn to stop wiping the blade by pinching it between my fingers! I'm just past the bandage phase of the last time I did that... ::facepalm::
