Braves lose to the Nats today 10-5 but I'll take a split with those guys. Going to the break 3 games under .500. At least we're a little better than last year.

Well the Cubs didn't trade Happ (yet ) although it sounds like they are looking for more pitching help (Sonny Gray?). I hope Quintana comes through for them - they traded 2 very good minor league players in Jimenez anc Cease to get Quintana.

Well I am just as pleased as punch to announce that the Braves have swept the Arizona Diamondbacks with a 7-1 capper! Next up for the Braves? A three game set in Atlanta with the Cubbies. ...and the plot thickens.

Judging from the radio broadcast there is a large contingent of Cubs fans at the Ballpark tonight. Atlanta is a good place to to migrate to.

This weekend we have the Cards in town at Wrigley. The starting pitching will be Arrieta, then Lester, then Quintana. That ought to get their attention.
