Mets pitchers = 15 strike outs. Cardinals pitchers = 9 walks. Guess who won?

Larry I like to see those late comebacks like that. Maybe we'll make a little noise this year. :D

steve99f wrote:redrider that is just an impressive displays of Nats action figures, er bobble heads. I only have 1, Placido Polanco and he had a huge head. :D

But being a fan of the Fightin's, the Nats suck. Just sayin'. Phils go later this afternoon against the Bravos in Altlanta, 4:10 start. First victim. ::tu::
No worries, steve99f, it's a long season. I'd much rather go to a game than watch one on t.v., my girl got us a 6 pack of tickets to bobblehead games. So the shelf will be expanding!

Big day tomorrow in the City of Two Chilis. ::ds::

::facepalm:: With 5 pitchers on the DL and Homer Baily as opening day Reds pitcher, I think were going to have another long season. ::teary_eyes:: ftd

Makes you wonder about Mr. Kapler's lack of experience at this level. ::hmm:: Nola was cruisin'. No reason to pull him in the opener. And he went deep in the bullpen and they are playing again today. Take out Hoskins? Why? ::uc::

Why didn't he walk Markakis too? ::teary_eyes::

Kudos to the braves for coming back from a 5 to 0 hole.

Too bad the Twins couldn't have rallied back and beat the hO's yesterday, I was really hoping they would.

The fly-over was done by the Cavanaugh Flight Museum. https://www.cavflight.org/ Not sure what the planes were but the museum has both a B-25 and a B-29 in its collection. My understanding is they maintain all their collection in flying condition and tour them around the country to various events.

This fly-over was calm compare to a couple of years ago when they had a squadron of F-18s do it. That was deafening! And they came and went in about 3 seconds. ::woot::

Whew!!! The Cubs vs Marlins game last night was quite the marathon. Each team scored a run in the 3rd inning and it stayed tied at 1-1 until the Marlins scored one in the bottom of the 17th inning. The game started at 6:00 PM CDT and at 11:00 PM CDT I went to bed in the middle of the 16th inning. It was the longest game in that park by innings (17) and the second longest by time (5 hours, 18 minutes).

Oh, and by the way. I just learned that Derek Jeter is now co-owner of the Marlins. Hmmmm

Bravos take the final game with the Nats with 2 in the 12th inning 5-3. This is the first series of the year that the Braves have lost. Impending showdown with the Cubbies this weekend. I hope it doesn't snow up there Jerryd. :D

9 wins in the first 10 games. Up 4-1 late against Miami. Thor and the boys are looking dominant.
