The AAPK Trivia Challenge!!!

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it became a bit of a burden. I know that sounds silly, but I would freak out that I had missed it, or would have to stop what I was doing to make sure I took it everyday. Jody and SK are more than worthy competitors, and always forced me to do my best every day. However, it's tough to make any moves when there are only 2 or 3 playing.

Hey Hey! Glad to see the trivia Challenge is still going! It has been years since I have played!
I may have to give it another whirl.

I enjoyed playing and played every day for quite a while BUT I'm slow and got tired of losing because of my time. I was going to give it another whirl here while back but couldn't remember my password.

Glad you stopped in SFC

I went and got a new password. Took me 139 seconds to get 7 correct. ::facepalm:: Remember the part about I'm slow?

I used to play everyday also. It got to be a little bit of a problem, as I HAD to make sure I played everyday. I had to let it go...but I do love mindless trivia!

I played every day for quite a while. Won a few, but mostly fell to the speed demons that seemed to know all the answers and could speed read the questions.

Finally stopped playing the Music, Movies and Sports quizzes, as I have never been that much into any of those.

General Knowledge, Geography, History etc, I can at least compete, but seldom wind up on top.

Hi Everyone, The AAPK Trivia challenge is still alive thanks to Jerryd. Perhaps we can revive it. There are 10 multiple choice questions every day. You score 10 points for each correct answer and you lose 1 point for every second it takes you to complete the quiz. It's free to play. All you need is a user name and a password. No personal details are needed. Upon first registering you will also need the site pass word as this is a private quiz only for AAPK members. Please PM if you are interested. Best wishes, S-K

Our Category Schedule:
Sunday: FunTrivia Mix
Monday: History 2 : Intermediate
Tuesday: Science & Technology 2 : Intermediate
Wednesday: General Knowledge 5 : Difficult
Thursday: Music 2 : Intermediate
Friday: Sports : General : Intermediate
Saturday: FunTrivia Mix

Hi Greg, That's great. Glad you enjoyed it. Different categories each day. Points accumulate over the month. Four players today is a good start.

I think I might enjoy this too but not today as I know absolutely nothing about sports.

I sent you a PM, SK. Thanks!

Rick , I got questions about Basketball Cricket and Soccer which I know little or nothing about so even if you think you know a category you might get surprised. :D

When it's movies or music and now sports, all of which I know little to nothing about, I skip that day. Better to stay silent and let them wonder if you are ignorant than to open your mouth and erase all doubt.

Thanks for the heads up, Greg. I don't really expect to be much good at this but I like this kind of stuff regardless. Looking forward to giving tomorrow's game a try. ::tu::
