My son was all "Dad you can't wear that shirt" which of course got him nowhere. He changed his tune after I got compliments on the shirt from several people, two of which were Drill Sergeants. She collects CASE P-Nuts.. I get her a new one every Christmas.. My knifing buddy!! She always has 1-2 knives on her at all times!!

That sounds exactly like something I would do Jerry, good for you!
I almost always wear a Marine Corps had, including to Fort Lewis Washington, where my granddaughters husband is stationed; he's an E7 in the Army.
I also wore my Marine Corps baseball cap to watch my daughter be sworn into the National Guard and two other occasions when two of my granddaughters were sworn into the Army. (I missed my grandson swearing in for some reason.)
The funny thing is how many people on post at Fort Lewis said "Semper Fi" to me.
