Good Mornin', Boys.
62 and foggy, we got into the low 70s yesterday. Deer hunting is winding down and I haven't been to a stand in way over a week. I'll be glad when it's over. ::nod:: But I saw one on one of the cameras yesterday that I'd not seen before. ::woot:: Made my old heart flutter! I'll post his picture on the outdoorsman thread.
Time for coffee, y'all have a blessed day!

Afternoon y'all. Thought I was going to have 3 hours. But she said get the cobwebs.
So almost 1.75 hours looking up and reaching up to clean with a duster all the fluorescent lights.
The last one is right over the checkout lanes and checkers nor customers wanted me to continue.
I'll get that one in the morning before customers.

The second bank in town had a box of pennies and I bought it.

Not much else to report except Sunday we are going up to DFW to see my Dad's sister. My aunt.
And you never know. It could very well be the last time we see her alive.

Mornin' Dave and good job. I'll plug in the coffee pot, get the grill fired up and put some bacon on. It is another balmy morning here at 66º.
I am gonna do a small show in Brenham, home of Bluebell Ice Cream, this weekend.
Hope you all have a good day. ::tu::

Good Friday morning. Tomorrow is my knife club meeting so I'm just looking for something to do to kill the day. I may check out a job for next week or maybe clean off my desk to get things ready to start taxes. We'll see what happens when this coffee kicks in and all the wheels start clicking away. Have a great Friday. ____Dave

Afternoon y'all. I had a buffer again today. It immediately threw the pad to start with.
It was thinking about throwing it again by getting more and more off center. But didn't.
Found out the Professional floor guys don't do the non slip areas of the store.
I do. Tomorrow morning I'm going to machine the floor up front a LOT wetter.
Try not to give the wheel tracks etc to "set". Because the buffer wouldn't touch those set in stains.

Then tomorrow afternoon we are going to Livingston to get a rental car for our Sunday trip to see my Aunt (Dad's two year older Sister). For what could be the last time we see her alive.

I'm not prepared to say happy Saturday. But there is no argument that it is in fact Saturday.
Coffee might help. It's a pretty fair mug.

Morning. Hope it's a good one for everyone.

This is way too early for me. I'm not done sleeping yet, but I have biannual CPR training this morning at 8 a.m. and it's NOT being held in my den, so I gotta drive there. :?

Then this afternoon, I get to empty out the hall refrigerator, move it out, put down new flooring and then put it back. Argh... WORK. for no pay. ::td::

Good morning guys. I love Saturdays even if I haven't worked all that much during the week, especially when it's my KNIFE CLUB WEEKEND. Whoops, did I say that too loud for you late risers. I have no pity and totally don't understand what you guys do all morning in bed. My wife is a night person and sleeps until some ungodly hour like 8 or 9 and when I ask her about that, she just snores louder. Anyway, I'm pumped to hit the road as soon as my friend, also a Dave, gets here from Duluth and we hit the road for the North Star Blade Collectors where, if any of you have been paying attention, I get a fistful of really nice knives pretty much every month. Don't let that get out. Have a great Saturday. ____Dave

Good morning guys. The caravan from Maryland to Delaware is over and we are Marylanders no longer (does that make us Delawarites?). I feel like somebody pounded me with a 2-pound sledge hammer which translated means it's time to take getting fit again seriously. The kitchen is the only room setup but in due time we'll be living large again.

I missed you guys last week but I'm close to being back full time again. Thanks for all of the PM's with words of support, your sentiments mean the world to me.

Peace - Tom

Tom I'm glad to know you survived the move. I do not envy anyone going through moving. I moved to my current location 30 years ago and hope I can live out the rest of my days right here. I hope you will be happy in your new home.

I've got three things on my to do list today; get a haircut, go to the post office, and go to the bank. If I can get all that done I'll consider my day a success. :)

I'd love to live in one place for 30 years but as lifetime renters we will be moving again on 3/31 as the condo we reside in has been sold.
Good news is this is my 30th move since I arrived in FLA in 1982, and will possibly be the easiest as we are moving directly up the stairwell.

Our unit # will change from 102 to 202....

No clue why that's relevant, I guess it's just diner chatter....

I don't know what the correct term is but I would call you a "Delawarean".

::ds:: I looked that up ( http://www.geography-site.co.uk/pages/c ... s_usa.html ) and I got it right. First time in a month I've been right, just ask Linnea.
