Good Mornin', FCD Friends.
Cool spell was yesterday, temperature is several degrees warmer this morning and thunder storms have made it into the forecast.
Got the coffee mad and Miss Joy is pouring it as I hunt and peck.
Yesterday I heard one of the news casters refer to today's activities as "festivities". They just doesn't sit well with me! :x
Have a blessed day and has been suggested, "reflect on what occurred 20 years ago"!

Top of the morning to you all!!
I'm in the diner a little later than usual. I slept in this morning as I did 20 years ago today, but then I had just come home the night before from the hospital. Today is a very solemn day for me and I will spend it here at home.
Please remember this day and be a blessing to someone.... :D

Morning
Got sidetracked this morning. At Local Auction early, had a lot of things from years ago. And the pile of “vintage “ knives wasn’t so vintage, a couple of bone handles was after went way to high. Now I’m not afraid to pay up for a decent piece, but almost 3 times my top dollar. Maybe should be selling more and buying less . Got a old pair of hand irons from Stillwater prison with matching numbered keys. So now back to regular program .
Ike. My kind of breakfast most mornings. Will give those a try .
Boji. Hang in there Girl, praying for you and all in the circle you mentioned . It’s getting us here now ,worse than ever. All we can do is our part I reckon .
Tom. Your Son is off to a great start in life. Hope he has a memorable trip
JerryD. How’s the Cubs doing this year, they going to make playoffs
That’s a wrap here folks ,till next time . Enjoy life Take care .

Good Morning folks!
Ended up with 33:10 for the week.
On the plus side I am going to Walmart in Livingston.
On the minus side I am taking Dad who tires easily.
On the great side I must wait until the 25th but I will get a two blade teardrop Jack!!!!

Mate, i think now is the time to be thinning out the herd and selling some knives, prices have sky rocketed in the last 18 months to 2 years, the market may not have peaked but i don't think they can go much higher or people might lose interest. So if you have some to sell look at doing it now, but listening to me could be the road to ruin. ::dang:: ::dang:: ::dang::

As it happened I did not take Dad to Livingston.
Sister took him to pick out tomorrows dinner makings.

Good morning fellow diners, hope you all have a good Sunday on a sombre weekend for your country, after seeing all the photos of your breakfast fare over the last week thought i would provide some breakfast. It is available to go for those attending church services today. Enjoy your coffee and your Sunday.

Thanks for opening up and fixin' breakfast this mornin', Cudgee. I'll take a pair of those before doin' my run thru in the shower this morning. The Bride and I will be off to church in just a little while. I woke up so early that I'll likely jump into the recliner for a nap sometime or the other.
My Horns sure got a dose of humility yesterday. I had predicted such due to poor line play and a rookie quaterback.
Hope your day is a blessed one.

Mornin' folks.
Made an Uber Eats pick up last night at a local pizzeria and noticed a sign on the door: Drivers Wanted.

Good morning. I've finished one mug and gotta get the chickens fed and me cleaned up for Sunday go to meeting services. I came home yesterday after working on the bookstore volunteer project and took down a large dead poplar tree and cut it up and then cleaned up a pile of brush. My back is telling me I should have stopped and rested after the bookstore. Sitting still through church and Sunday School is going to be a long haul. Nothing planned for the afternoon. Have a great Sunday.____Dave

Good Mornin', folks!
I do believe cudgee's offering is a notch or two above the Jimmy Dean cheese, sausage biscuit that is popular here at Starvation Plantation! ::nod::
Up early compared to recent days, we too are going back to church, first Sunday in about a month. Being over the covid, or at least testing negative, must feel like getting out of jail. Energy level is still lacking.
Today at 3 pm we hope to attend the memorial service for our good friend, Roger Richter. Pray for his young daughter.
Coffee is ready.
Y'all have a good Sunday.

A day off! I don’t know what to do! Maybe a nap later.
It has been a long time since I worked full time.
Good news, tested Negative! As for my business partner’s family, at least 2 more are sick but won’t get tested. Grrrr!

My daughter will be here for a couple of days midweek. Her Grandma (Dad’s side) passed away, services are Wednesday.
Gotta clean the spare bedroom cuz the dog claims it.

Was nice to see and hear all the 9-11 tributes yesterday.
Wish the country could come together like we did post 9-11 but there just too much discord on so many levels.

Have a great Sunday and be good humans.

Obviously, the Negative test is great news. Some further analysis reveals a "possible breakthrough" in the Covid battle.

Some time after exposure and before testing, a double Maker's Mark was self prescribed. Subsequent testing yields negative results. Coincidence??? Follow the science, folks!

Four Roses Yellow Label for me when I splurge but I usually drink the bottom shelf stuff since I can't really tell the difference anyway.

Good early afternoon to all. I will be making a little lanyard for a new carrier knife later. Otherwise, not much is going on here, which I do suppose is a good thing. Tomorrow and Tuesday promise to be at least somewhat eventful. I think I'm almost finished with the coffee for now. Y'all have a great day!
