Good mornin' guys. Pap, I'm sure you'll do a really good job.
We are into 100º almost every day here so there is nothing that can be done outside that is any fun. I'll make a post office run and not much else today.
Hope you all have a good day. ::tu::

Off to the monthly meeting of the Bell County Master Gardeners. June through August we move the meeting up to 8:30 as our building is unairconditioned. Gets pretty warm with nearly 100 folks crammed in. Throw in Texas heat and humidity, and the building can get oppressive.

Good Mornin', Men.
John, let me add another congratulatory comment, being a grandfather is the best job you'll ever have!
Grandpa Dave seems to have gotten the prize for the most grands of the 1st Cup crew. I'm just a tad older than him and only have 3, ours are all boys. ::shrug::
Speaking of grandfathers, we're considering a trip to go see our grandsons' great grandfather, he's only about 2 months away from hitting the 95 mark, still butchering cattle. He has 2 steers in the cooler, both dressed over 800 pounds, to cut, grind and wrap in a week or so.
Slept in this morning, Miss Joy has the coffee ready, y'all have a great day, especially "Pap"!

We have entered monsoon season here in Kentucky it seems. The humidity is oppressive and it's raining every afternoon and night. My little dog is terrified of thunder and it's a very difficult time for her right now. I'm just glad it's not 100 degrees like Ray is "enjoying".

The SoCal coastal areas have interesting weather in the summer. We call it "June Gloom" because it is often overcast and gray - exactly the opposite of what you might expect for a summer day at the beach. What happens is that when the inland valleys and desert areas of California heat-up (often to 100 degrees or more), it sucks moisture off the ocean, creating fog & overcast in the beach communities. So - if you want to enjoy a sunny day at a SoCal beach, do NOT come to SoCal in June!

We are pretty close to what Ray has except we have humidity.
Floor machine still not fixed but it got through the whole store again.
Aisle 4 was a mess. Floor machine didn't get it. Buffer couldn't get it.
A mop and a spray bottle of Fabuloso did get it.
5.5 hours and a couple minutes today. 14.43 for the week so far.
Got a good check.

Good morning. The weather has been near perfect this week except for an occasional shower that messes up the painting we've been trying to do for several weeks now, but it's been around 60 to start the day and not getting much over 70 during the day. We have concrete to pour today if all goes well and about 10 directions to go if that plan fails. Have a great Thursday. Just two more days until Knife Club weekend.____Dave

Good Mornin', Fellers.
Readin' the posts this morning I got to djDave's and read about pouring concrete, had like a chill went up my spine! If we had time I could tell some real tales about pouring concrete over the years!
Coffee is ready and I'm ready for a good hot cup! ::nod::
Y'all have a great day, we may slip out of here a little after noon, really after nap time, and head south to see Miss Joy's dad for Father's Day.

Mornin' fellers. Both daughters with families came in yesterday and will spend a day or two. Celebrating both birthday for daughter and father's day. They had the air cranked down so low that I felt like I needed some covers during the night. :) They'll find activities here and in Austin to keep them busy today.
Hope you all have a good day. ::tu::

We could be closing escrow on the property we purchased as soon as tomorrow. My son will then be moving into the place - his first time living on his own!

Good morning guys. Well the concrete pour yesterday went very good until my large pull behind cement mixed ground to a noisy stop with about 20 bags left to mix. We finished the pour by hand in two wheel barrels. I'm hoping it was set enough for the rain last night. Today if the rain stops we will pull forms. Tomorrow is Knife club weekend and I'm ready for a day off. Have a great Friday. ____Dave

Good mornin, fellers.
Fixin to drink some hotel coffee in Crystal River, will be heading east across the state later in the morning. We are just rambling along on our way to see Grandpa for a couple of days. Just thinking about the fact Sunday,Father’s Day will be his 73rd year to celebrate as a father. ::hmm::
When did the Fathers Day celebration begin?
Y’all have a great Friday!

See....that has me thinking Philip.....so, it's not YOUR father but your grandfather you're going to see......correct? Making him in his 100's?
