Mornin' Scott and mornin' to the rest of the group. The closings sorta put a damper on your adventures, don't they.
I am all showered and ready for meetin', got my 1st cup brewed and it is a dandy.
Hope you all have a good day. ::tu::

Good Mornin' Scott and Ray.
Foggy and 69 degrees this am.
Scott, our local state park, Falling Waters, closed for several days and reopened soon after the Irma's winds subsided. The liability for the state is too great to chance having trees fall on someone's motor home.
Ray, we'll be gettin' ready for meetin' in a couple of hours, too.
Good Mornin' to the rest of you "Sleepin' Beauties" when you get here.
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Good morning.Yesterday was a blast from the knife club meeting and then the church anniversary celebration from 3 c clock until almost 10. It was a afternoon and evening full of great memories and seeing friends I haven't seen in 20, 30 and 40 years. Our small town church started out as a little country church that was eventually hauled into town about 40 years after it was started. I got to help add onto it a few times and it's a beautiful large modern looking building with some amazing people that have been active throughout the years and a bunch that are yet today. It's just a warm fun place to be with a good ministry to our community and way beyond. We have another day planned full of celebrating today. Yesterday, on a lesser note, I even got some nice knives at the knife club before all the church activities started. Have a great Sunday.____Dave

Got a pretty good mug this morning. No huge plans.
The blower motor for the AC in my truck never arrived.
Now it will be Thursday or Friday IF it gets here at all.

Morning fellers. Today is a big day. It's homecoming at church. Y'all from the south understand that I'm sure, big service, lots of folks come back to where they were raised, visitors, and dinner on the ground. There will be lots of fried chicken, country ham, chocolate and butterscotch pies, law!

But the biggest thing is that I get to baptize my youngest boy today! Whew! Y'all excuse me, I think my eyes are leaking.

Wade knowing your children are saved is the best feeling there is. (Even better than a second helping of that butterscotch pie) ::nod::

Mornin' guys. Both my teams lost this weekend. The 'Horns represented themselves pretty well but lost in the 2nd OT. The Cowboys looked like crap against the Broncos. :x

Good Mornin', Fellers!
Hope y'all have a wonderful Monday. Dr. appt. in Panama this am, just a check up after my epidural several months ago.
Our weather is still running along in the summer mode, low of 70 and high of 90 and humidity up in the 90 plus percentage most of the time.
Coffee is ready, still too dark to watch for critters in the front yard so I'll turn on the TV and see what part of the country has gone nuts over night. ::uc::

Good morning. I hated to see this weekend end with all the church activities, visiting some of our past ministers and lots of old friends, some I haven't seen in years, looking at old pictures from the past 100 years, lots of singing, and some dreaming of where we will be in another 25, 50 or 100 years. I slept like a log most of the night which doesn't happen often enough any more. We have a couple jobs to tackle today and a busy weekend ahead. Have a great week. ____Dave

Man, I have all the luck (NOT) with the buffer at work. Friday it threw the pad and would not restart (or even turn over). Today I'm humming along and it dies from an empty propane bottle.
In both cases I use a spot mop to hide the scrubbing machine tracks.
Anyhow got 4.5 hours today.

Mornin' fellers. I'll get the place lighted up and I'll plug the coffee pot in. I'll also fire up the grill and the next one in can do some sweeping if he wants to. It makes my back ache just to type about it.
After a year of struggling with the Bride's brother's estate management, we seem to be getting that all finalized today. Whew!
Hope you all have a good day. ::tu::

Good Mornin', Ray, Dave and Richard.
Tried to go back to sleep this am but wasn't able. Got the coffee goin', the dogs aren't interested in going out and Miss Joy is still sound asleep.
Our eldest grandson is fixin' to become a official teenager this week, so we'll be headin' out for Lawrenceville, Ga. in a couple of days. He'll be getting a new Buck 110 from Granddaddy. ::tu::
I suppose we need to keep an eye on Maria. Those folks in the islands are having a tough time this season. ::pray::
Y'all have a blessed Tuesday.
