Yeah, me too Scott. It sure hits the spot this morning. Yesterday was a really nice busy fun day knife collecting with grand-daughter Brittney, picking up a few knives, helping get ready for the Sunday School Christmas program, and spending the rest of the day relaxing with Jane working a jig saw puzzle and watching Auction Kings on TV. Church in a few hours with a 65th anniv. party for some friends after and a fun small groups church meeting tonight. Have a great Sunday. ____Dave

Good Mornin’, Fellers!
We’re waking up in Titusville for the second morning. Hope my brother in law has the coffee ready.
We visited with Miss Joy,s dad at his smoke house demolition at the “Cracker Christmas” yesterday, way too many people in one spot! Lots of folks had interesting questions concerning meat preservation in the old days and Grandpa had a wonderful time visiting with folks from all over the world. One of the most interesting guest was a young Chinese researcher. She was so interested in the old Florida ways and how they actually were similar to her early life in China, she knew the steps involved in smoking meat successfully.
Y’all have a wonderful Sunday, we’ll be attending church with one of Joy’s sisters this morning.

Trace that's a beautiful sky, but I'm not sure it offers a very good forecast. Be safe in your travels.

Church for me in a bit. Got to get a little more coffee surging through my veins before starting my morning breathing treatments. We have been blessed with an overnight visit from my oldest granddaughter, Abbi. She's up and stirring now so I can stop tiptoeing around.

J.P. Dave I sure hope you find that missing knife.

Good morning. Thanks Ray, Good picking Scott and Phil. Pray they doctors give you some good answers David. I'm just off to work on the cabin remodel. Some guys are coming today to patch up an old stone fireplace on the cabin. I'm not sure they will be able to work after today for a few days with the weather turning cold. I can't quite see tuck pointing stone at 15 below even tenting over the work area and running a torpedo heater. I'll be working inside with the furnace going. Jason and family are on their way back from Florida and I should be getting him back working with me Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm enjoying fondling my three knives from the show Saturday but my computer won't allow me to post pictures of them. I bought a new card reader yesterday because that's what the computer said was wrong but that didn't work either. My daughter-in-law is coming over to see if she can fix this old relic. It did this several weeks ago and she got it working but then it just quit again. I have a knife coming from Scott that I want to put with another one I have like it for the Matching knife thread for a picture but that isn't going to happen. I suppose it's about time to join the rest of the world with an updated computer and new server but we all know I don't like change. Have a great week and stay safe, especially you travelers. _____Dave

Good morning everyone, just saw a squirrel go by on the high line. Early squirrel gets the nut. Anyway the coffee is good and may need another cup. Not much planned today. Guess I'll be flying by the seat of my pants and a prayer. Have a good one!

BH, congratulation to you and condolence to you sweet bride. Don't know why they say yes in the first place or why they stay with us but thank the Lord they do. Apart from salvation marriage is the best thing that happened to me in this life and it sounds like you feel the same way. Happy for you and the Misses. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::handshake::

Good morning everyone
I have to sadly announce the demise (finally!) of Miss Rat, who was dumb enough to fall for the peanut butter. Thankfully, she was on the small side and showed no evidence of nursing anything.
I finally got to the swapmeet and picked up four knives, a full pack of PAL razor blades and Richards scissors. ::ds::
Have a good and safe day everyone!

Congratulations, you have two years on Jane and I. Yeah, this computer is old and needs to get replaced but I keep spending my money on knives instead of upgrading my computer. I'm dying to show off the last ones I got and my latest, a knife from Scott should be coming tomorrow so I'm getting behind. Hope you have something nice planned for the bride to celebrate. ____Dave
