I woke up at 4AM but decided that was way to early and went back to bed. Now it's going on 8 and I'm just now waking up again and likely would have slept even longer if not for my dog wanting to go outside. I guess I reset my body clock with my 4AM foray. I'm up now and hopefully the coffee will kick in soon. I had no appointments made for this morning so no harm done.

Have a great week.

Good morning. Phil, I did the same thing, awoke at 2 and couldn't get back to sleep until about 4:30. I'm tired now but I have to get something done today. The job we planned on for today won't work until tomorrow so we're scrambling to line something up for today. I kind of overspent a little on Saturday (I'd do it again in a second for what I got) but mt daughters wedding is next sat. and I do have a few expenses even though she and her new husband are footing the bill. It's a second marriage for both of them. We still haven't figured out what to do with these two dogs who both suffer with separation anxiety issues and have from birth. That's part of what I was trying to figure out last night when I was suppose to be sleeping. Have a great day and week. ___Dave

Good morning y'all, they called off work yesterday due to weather. It didn't hardly sprinkle. I went and put in that job application instead of waiting til today. Looks like I have a great chance of being hired. While there, the truck parts manufacturing plant that laid me off a year ago was ringing my phone off the hook. I returned their call after talking with the new company. They wanted me to come work for them through the summer and lay me off again in the fall. I was nice, I told them thanks for the offer but no thanks! I consider this an insult to say the least. I worked for them a year. After their share holders celebrated the best dividends in company history they laid me off. It made me feel great to let them know that I didnt need them. I dont think they had the same feelings. Lol lol lol

Good morning. Off to work again today. Our material didn't come yesterday which was suppose to come from Menards, so not showing up was no surprise. We still had part of a days work and filled the day with other work and today were fixing a horse trailer living quarters. I amaze myself with the variety of stuff we get into. Some days I go to a job and find the oddest stuff the client wants me to add to my list to fix or build for them. I love my job and a good challenge. Have a great Tuesday._____Dave

Happy Tuesday y'all. Sometime today I pick up a drum from my Mothers Sister's husband.
If it occurs early enough I'll deliver it today. But the plan allows for doing it tomorrow.
Lordy what a dream last night. Found 5 and a partial roll of half dollars, some quarter rolls.
And a whole mess of loose coins. All old stuff. Reality is so different.

Good Mornin'!
Slept in a little bit this am. Heard the rain about 3am but not enough to register in the gage, they weather folks call that a trace and I will too. :)
Had a rather uneventful trip to Panama City yesterday to see Miss Joy's "epidural" doctor. They said she's doing well and for her to call if and when the sciatica issues again become hard to live with. ::tu::
We'll probably head out for Dothan sometime today to visit a lady that had a brain tumor removed the doctors were afraid would claim her eyesight, but thank the Lord that operation seems to be successful!
Got to go buy some Zipper Cream field pea seed to finish up one of the garden spots before we unhook the planters and start cultivating. All this "stuff" sure puts a damper on bein' retired! ::uc::
Y'all have a great day!

Philip, the way I see it is retirement is doin' what you want to do and not doin' what your have to do (all the time).

Good Mornin'! I awoke to the sound of distant thunder. The radar shows this system that keeps workin' east has divided and the greater portion is in the north 1/2 of Mississippi and the north 1/2 of Alabama, part has broken off and is off shore south of Panama City, that's where all the thunder is coming from. Looks like for now we have dodged the bullet! There was .3" rain in the gauge over night. Might be a good day to get a haircut if the rain sets in where we can't work out side.
Y'all have a good hump day and try to behave! :D

Good morning everybody, 3 days and no work. Wonder if I will get to today. We will see in a couple hrs. I find this ridiculous to say the least. The owners are wanting me stay with this company and run a crew. No taxes no benefits no hrs. I dont think they need me. I am waiting on the company I put the application in monday to call. Then things will change. Y'all have a great day
