Good morning, having a good cup of coffee and may need some more. 26 degress and cloudy with a forecast high of 38. Suppose to be warmer tomorrow. Not much on the agenda today. Check your six and happy trails!

It doesn't make any sense. 6 days a week I get up at 4am.
On Sunday morning I get to sleep in.
This annoys my Dad no end.
No giant plans for the day.

Monday. Here we go again. I don't think I have the Marquee this week.
The sale runs two weeks. I do need to change the filters today or tomorrow.
One of my flashlights died yesterday. Not sure why but no battery will wake it up.
It is an LED so something electrical seems to be the issue.
Oh well.

Mornin' guys. It is 41º here this morning and will warm to about 55 or 60º by this afternoon. Other than a trip to the post office, not much on the agenda for the day.
Hope you all have a good day. ::tu::

Morning Dave, morning Scott, morning Ray, morning gents. Woke up early to deer hunt, pouring outside so I’m sipping coffee, reading AAPK, and waiting for a break in the weather. You gents have a good day. OH

Good Mornin', Fellers.
Our weather is still pleasant, this morning it is 43 degrees with clear skies. Got to get Miss Joy up a bit early, she's cooking the meat for a funeral meal at church. She said she bought 2 giant pork roasts and needs help getting them in the oven at church by 7am. Time for a quick cup now and breakfast later on. ::tu::
Bruce, hope your weather cooperates with you today. Remember, they walk in the afternoon too and of course if the rut is on, they ramble all the time. ::tu::
Y'all have a great day!
Treefarmer

Back home already, mission accomplished. She and one of our neighbors will go back at 10 and finish up the meal which will also include a big pan of chicken and rice. Time for breakfast! ::tu::

Good morning guys. Another week, and a short one at that. We got a couple inches of snow last night and the temps are a moderate 15 degrees or so. Our windows and metal roofing didn't show last week and the windows are now 10 days out which messes with our progress at having the owner in his new house soon. My last chance at getting a deer and having good Swedish meatballs for Christmas eluded me yesterday evening with no deer showing. We had supper with friends last night, that we haven't seen in a few months, and the husband's mind has been slipping away to old age stuff. Every once in a while he would think of something I built around his home or something we did with them like country dancing and he would get excited about the "good old days". It was fun but sad at the same time. I suppose Jane and I aren't too far behind him. On that cheery note, have a great week and stay between the lines. ___Dave

Morning fellers, that coffee sure is good this morning. NWS says 24 degress at the moment. Sunshine and headed to 51. Looks like a good day is shaping up. I only have to work two days this week. Might go check out some antique shops later. Keep your powder dry and happy trails!

Up at 0600, late for me; got in some strong black coffee then paced the floor. Stood before the MAN in municipal court and paid my traffic fine, a good knife gone there. Pickleball at 1230, then back home for good home made sausage chicken shrimp Cajun GUMBO. Life ain't perfect today, but it is GOOD.

Monday was a hoot. The floor machine was putting down a LOT of water.
I suspected the vacuum wasn't doing it's job. Found it when I washed it out.
Water came from where it shouldn't. A hose came off. I put it back and it's good to go.
Selling my current penny box tomorrow. Not sure where I'll get another.

Good morning Scott and Ray and all you sleeper-iners. Our bog lake is keeping us a few degrees above the official temp. of 1 degree but it's suppose to warm up into the balmy 20's. We have carsiding paneling to varnish so we are hoping to get the ui-insulated house we are building up to warm enough to get the varnish to cure. We are still waiting for our metal roof and windows and the electrical to get done and inspected. The owner is waiting with toothbrush in hand to move in. This coffee sure hits the spot this cold morning. Have a great day. Only two left until Thanksgiving. ___Dave

Good Mornin', Fellers.
Dave, I guess I am guilty of the "sleeper-iner" title this morning and just a comment, I don't know how y'all operate when it gets as cold as you mentioned this morning? Woke up to overcast skies and 54 degrees and there is a bunch of rain offshore, not good in my opinion for drying up wet ground. Miss Joy will have most things in order before Thursday, floors mopped, etc. and all the baking caught up except for the turkey. With the children, their dogs and the grandsons, the muddy yard and woods will make all the extra cleaning useless, IMHO. At least that's the way I see it, kinda' like, why make up the bed every morning and then have to tear it down to get back in it that evening? Wait until after Thanksgiving, when they all leave and then sweep and mop the floors. ::shrug:: Miss Joy even straightens and tidies up right before the cleaning lady shows up. ::uc:: She was one tired ol' gal yesterday after fixin' the funeral meal for the family whose 97 year old mother had passed.
Got to make a run to the lease and make sure things are still good for the grandsons to hunt. It's going to be different with all the timber laying on the ground. :)
Time for that proverbial 1st cup, y'all have a great day!

The sale we have going lasts two weeks. So no Marquee today.
Trish says since the buffer runs faster I should speed up and be done by 7am.
Best I ever do is 7:20.

I'll confirm today but I think I have tomorrow off.

The coffee this morning tastes like two heaping scoops and less water than usual.

In other news a wavy washer fell out of the flashlight that died. Found it and reinstalled it and by golly the thing works!

Mornin' fellers. I have to get up and get to moving around. I am going to church this morning to cut up a turkey or two for Thanksgiving meals that the church is sending out. This year we are feeding about 200 folks. Then we have a regular service tonight.
It is 40º on my patio and going to be in the mid-50s this afternoon. I have much for which to be thankful this year.
Hope you all have a good day.

Good morning guys. Yesterday we varnished 115 pieces of carsiding 1X8's with what we thought was latex Watco and couldn't figure out why the torpedo heater was turning the fumes into a burning smelly nasty mess that you get from varnishing with oil based stuff while using a torpedo heater. We figured it out when Jason tried to clean his hands with water. We dug some mineral spirits out of his work trailer to clean the brushes. The fumes from my clothes washed out so I can reuse them too so all is well until we have to put the second coat on, probably after we get actual heat in the house. The headache should go away in a day or two. Hopefull our metal roof system will show today in time to install at least most of it. Then we can work out in the fresh cool air.(8 degrees and climbing). Have a great Wednesday. ____Dave
