Bonjour monsieur. Welcome to AAPK. Since long time AAPK member "stancaiman " (Paris) doesn't post much on the forum, we occasionally need a "French Connection". Glad to have you aboard.

Bienvenue couteau frere.
I am currently watching Un Village Francais and my niece just returned from living in Paris, so I'm currently getting a healthy dose of French culture and un Francais joining AAPK is perfect timing. Few sites espouse the principles of liberte, egalite, fraternite like AAPK!

Welcome & Aloha, Marc

Welcome here at AAPK! This is truly an international site, although predominantly North American membership. We welcome all knife enthusiasts and would like to see some French-made cutlery. ::tu::

Welcome to AAPK, you'll like it here. Lots of great people and great information. I can honestly say I only own one French knife, or at least I think it is French. The tang stamp on it is "Veritable Sauzede". It's what we call a camper or scout type knife here. Metal handled, bottle opener, can opener, spear blade, clip blade, rope fid, and I think corkscrew, but that is broken off. and a carry loop. Hope to see pics of some of your French made knives.
