Hey all!

Post by michaelpellerin »

I'm Mike. I've collected , and or have, pocket knives since I was a Cub Scout in 1967. My Dad bought the knife for me and taught me how to care for and sharpen it. I still have the knife.

I collect knives by style. Manufacturer is secondary.

I'm in love with, Barlows, Stockmens, Congress, Marlin Spikes and Sunfish.

I also like simple penknifes!

I also collect Casino Chips from current and defunct casinos.

I'm also an expert on the interpretation on Ancient Roman Coins, or Inscriptions.

I'm with you on the knives but the casino chips and the Roman coins are not on my menu.

::welcome:: michaelpellerin ! I think you will enjoy your time here. One of the side effects of collecting old knives is that you pick up a lot of historical data while researching old knives and the companies that made them. Sometimes that side data while spark an interest in something else. History is one of my loves anyway and collecting old knivesgives you a lot of that.
There are lots of friendly people here who love to share their knowledge so don't ever hesitate to ask a question. Welcome aboard!
