Hello from Minnesota
Hello from Minnesota
Hi , New member here. I learned about the forum from a buddy over on the MTO forum. I really just started collecting traditional folders last year but have been a knife guy my whole life. I'm originally from Scotland but have lived in the states since I 1975 when my family imigrated.
Look forward to poking around the forum and getting to know you all

Re: Hello from Minnesota
Glad to have you. I think very few start out with a conscious goal of becoming a "collector". It seems to be a slow insidious disease that creeps up on you until one day you look up and realize, "I'm a knife collector (accumulator, hoarder or what ever else you decide to call yourself to salve your conscience.)"

Re: Hello from Minnesota
Tomorrow, Oct.21st is our monthly meeting of the North Star Blade Collectors. We would love to have you join us at the Knights of Columbus building on American Blvd. around 10 o-clock. It's open to anyone and we just meet informally for a couple hours and visit and buy and sell knives between each other. We used to be a much larger club of around 100 members and have dwindled down to a couple dozen with around 10 usually showing up. There is no charge and no pressure to join. ___Davetophatjohnny wrote:Hey Steve. I was born and raised in St Paul. Central class of 78. I'm new here too. Seems like some cool people on board.
