Questions about ivory handled Henekeis knife
This knife says J A Henekeis - Germany on it. The other side of the blade says Triodur. It has Elephant ivory handles. I do not know what kind of steel the blades are or how old it may be. Has anyone got one like it or have any information on it? The handles are better looking that the photos are. I need to take pics outside but it's been raining for several days with no sunshine!

Nothing has the feel of ivory. Sweet knife.

Steel is Henckels Friodur, 440C stainless subzero quenched. Nice little knife!
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.
