I would ask you to keep praying for him. Our Father in heaven hears our prayers. He doesn’t always answer the way we would like, but He is always there to provide the grace we need to get through whatever we are facing and I know He will provide Roland that same grace.
Most definitely!

I was lucky enough to purchase almost 50 knives from him, and I was amazed at how he could and would give information on most any that I purchased, he told me that he kept excellent records, but most of his knowledge seemed to be from research that he would do on a knife, not just one he may own but just knife knowledge that he said intrigued him. Still it can be tapped into by reading some of his posts from years past.

I sincerely hope that is so.

Roland was searching in his final days.

I hope he found Jesus.

I will miss him here.

He gave a good try at beating that cancer.

Very saddened to learn of Roland passing. Somehow even when we know it’s coming, when it actually happens it still hurts. I knew him only through AAPK, but he is missed. My sincere condolences to his family and personal friends.

Even though it doesn't come as a complete surprise this news is still heartbreaking. In the very short time I had to read Roland's posts I still learned a bunch of knife related information I may never have known otherwise. Our knife community and the world as a whole lost a highly knowledgeable knifer and gentle soul today, I will miss you, R.I.P. 8)
