I'm not much of a mixed drink drinker. Especially when it comes to pre-mixed stuff but this one really impresses me. A friend convinced me to try it and I'm glad he did.

I need to get some Maraschino Cherries as this is just screaming for them.

The knife is a Buck 503 in Sunset Jigged Bone from the Custom Shop.

It took me awhile but I finally picked up a full sized bottle. I'm not drinking tonight but looking forward to the weekend pour. ::nod::

The knife is a Remington Congress that I won as a door prize at the Gateway Area Knife Show a few years ago.

You are spot on my friend. This Benchmark is a "sleeper" value as far as I'm concerned. I just finished a Friday night pour of this and I am impressed. Drank it neat. This is one that I will always have on hand from now on.

Thanks for the recommendation, bighomer. I like this stuff! Great flavors and a decent ABV for the price. The bargain price is just the icing on the cake. A great value just like you said. ::handshake:: I have to ask myself, how can they make whiskey this good for such a low price? ::clapping::

Well they also make Pappy Van Winkle so they could just give the ole Benchmark away. ::super_happy:: ::handshake::

New ones for me, Yellowstone Bourbon and a Microtech Troodon Mini. The bourbon is OK but I prefer wheated ones like Markers Mark. Makes a fine Manhattan tho. For a little auto it is a tough one and California legal for those unfortunate to live there and like autos

Scott, that 1792 Small Batch is some good stuff. I have about a half of a bottle on hand as we speak.

Nice knife too! Is that Giraffe Bone?

I took this photo on 7 December of last year. The glass is a "parting glass," in remembrance of those who have passed, and it contained Kahlua. Not my preferred spirit, but it's what I had on hand when the photo was taken.
