New Packers

Post by FRJ »

I got a couple of knives back in the line up thanks to Glenn. Also known as Glennbad.
A used but beautiful old Western swell center hunter. The celluloid was going south so I asked Glenn to put on this
linen Micarta. 5 1/4". I'm happy.
Also, this Crown Cutlery Co. Easy Open was in need of new covers too so Glenn put this black linen Micarta on it
and fixed a bit of a wobbly blade. 3 3/4"
I like easy opens in the winter and I like the blades on this one. Thanks for not polishing the blades, Glenn.
You did a great job on both of these knives. I really like them. Thanks a lot.

Just wow! I’m a fan of micarta and both of those are real nice. But that Western takes the cake!

Thanks for the comments, guys. Much appreciated.

Wade, I like the Micarta too. It just isn't going anywhere. Also, in most cases, there is no doubt the knife has been worked on.

I agree, Doggleg, it's very satisfying to have one recovered and put back in your pocket.
