I bought this small stockman on EBay. The seller listed it as wood but
I think it may be bone or an acrylic. It was made in 1970 and is about
3 1/4 in long. Does anyone have a Case knife list from 1970?

Re: Case knife 087PE bone?
My resources show that in 1970 the 087PE was produced with jigged bone, jigged Delrin, smooth black and stag. Only. Your knife appears to be extremely pocket worn - the shield has worn down to the point that “Case” is almost no longer present. From the pictures it appears the handles are bone. They left the factory as jigged bone. So says ”Sherlock Holmes”.

I agree. Talk about pocket worn. That puppy had decades of pocket time.

A agree bone worn smooth. The only model of the 63087 made in '70 with the spay and pen secondary blades was the 63087 Sp Pen, made in bone and then switched to Delrin so both bone and Delrin were made in '70, that one is bone.

Thanks guys for the response. I have a few other pocket worn Case knives I bought used but
this one is super smooth. Wonder who carried it for so many years and what they used it for?
Love knives with a history.
