Two good lookers Sam! Of course, I'm partial to the auto, but the manual has a great profile as well! Is the manual referred to as a "Ranger" knife? It seems to me I've heard it called that. You're doing something twice to have your pictures post twice like that, and I don't know how you'd correct that, although, it really doesn't matter. Keep em' comin'! 8)

It's got something to do with clicking-on "Place in line" Sam, but beyond that I don't know. I understand the picture will post even if you don't click-on "Place in line" but how it all works eludes me! It doesn't bother me in the least but saving server space might be an issue with Admin! 8)

The big one is an auto, button is under the pad closest to the blade. It's been converted to automatic. How do you like it now, lol.

I had one of these years ago and I had a manual too but sold both of them to a guy I was working with. Wish I'd kept the auto cause I paid a lot more for this one. Live and learn I guess.

Bad thing is it's not double action, have to use the button. I've never carried it.

Yah, I remember you mentioning a couple of times that you use to own a Stimulus that you were really sorry you parted with. I'd like to get a manual eventually too. As for the higher price, I guess you need to take inflation into account, but it's never fun when you feel you overpaid! 8)

I see the stud is still on the knife, are you saying the blade won't come out if you use the stud? ::shrug:: Thx! 8)

This old Boker USA stockman has been in my collection for some time. I like to pull it out once in a while just to admire the old bone, shield, and general solid construction. It has a nice heft to it, and while it's not a fancy Solingen Boker, you can tell from picking it up that it's a quality knife. It brings me comfort to be it's temporary custodian...
