""I thought"" -- There was a recent webpage of Sears catalogs, that linked to a number of their past issues. Seems that page is no longer available, at least I can't find the current page. Hopefully somebody may know the correct link, or even another source of information.
My current question is about a Craftsman with a tang stamp - 9509, probably from 1960's, probably a Camillus production. Thanks !

I posted a bunch of pages from Sears Christmas catalogs here: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=42557&start=195#p789803

They are all taken from here: http://www.wishbookweb.com/

Thanks guys for the link to "WISHBOOK". I was aware that history / production records was not common on Sears. I remember left button clicking my way through the catalog archive pubs when I tried -- back then. It is just a simple piece of luck to find "my knife" in the catalog, would be nice to have a searchable data file, -- but then that would take all the mystery out of the game.
These knives all have the "crown image" on the shield with Craftsman inside. Surely this dates the production of this series, as well as they have 4 digit pattern identities. Do you know the relevant dates or other clues?
Photos are (top to bottom) of # 94734, 9541, 9507, 9509.
