Feeling “Blue”

Post by Sharpnshinyknives »

I got in another Marbles for my collection today. This is my fourth blue jigged bone Marbles. So when I got them all out to photograph them together, I thought why not get out all the blue jigged bone knives in my collection. Found out there isn’t enough room in my photo box for all of them. So here are some favorites of mine. I didn’t have room for all the Coleman blue jigged bone knives, but will get them in the next few days.
If you have blue jigged bone knives, feel free to add them to this thread. For that matter any blue handled knife would be welcome.

Nice group!

I prefer bright colored handles for work knives (orange, safety yellow, slime green; lime green), traditional folders usually earthentones in wood and bone, but personally, my favorite non-earthen tone is blue when involving plastic handles. Both my 110LT Bucks are blue (CPM-154 Shield; Slim Select). But, this one is on my desk.

Cody, that looks perfect for boxes. I like the size of the handle and how much power that would transfer to that small blade. Knowing what I know about Morakniv knives, I am sure it’s plenty sharp and easy to sharpen.

When I was a tad, blue was my favorite color. Here's some of my blue knives.

Not sure I could pick a favorite out of all those Jerry, but that smooth blue bone does seem to make me come back and look at it again and again.

That GEC Water Snakes is one I haven’t seen before, I like that.

I have a Schrade "Special Edition" 5UH-type knife that fits in here. I've enjoyed seeing all the knives previously posted.

I don't know what the tang stamp says on this pocket knife.
It's Eagle(something). Maybe Eagleton?

There's enough blue left on this BENCHMADE U.S.A.
to include it in this topic. It's my oldest, steady, e.d.c.

Joe, you have great taste in knives. Love the Moki and this other one is one of the best looking blue mammoth tooth knives I’ve seen.
So many beautiful knives being posted here.
That Benchmade has seen a lot of use, it speaks to the quality of the knife.

Very nice knives you guys are showing! This was a teriffic idea for a thread Mark, thanks! Due to my poor photo skills and lack of proper equipment, it's kindda hard to see the blue in these one's, but I promise you it's there! The last one is actually grey micarta, but it has always appeared as light blue to me! 8)
