Each blade has a tang stamp, both are 3 line.

You guys nailed that one quick! It's a Thornton but Johnston gets you an honorable mention - they were both under Federal. It came out of the Imperial sample room collection which included a huge pile of competitors knives - mostly Colonial and related, like this one.
