Hate that happened to you TopDog, I've done the same. But the good thing from my experience is now I have better dance moves.

Well, P.B. I was never a great dancer... as you can see I think I am going to start wearing my steel toe boots when handling my knives from now on ....Papa Bones wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 4:47 pmHate that happened to you TopDog, I've done the same. So, I found this Jar & Bottle opener at an estate sale and I thought ... well I am pretty lazy so this opener might make taking the twist off even easier, at the end of a long day when I want to expend as little energy as possible... I think I might have wasted my $2.00...

Re: WHAT DID YOU USE YOUR KNIFE FOR TODAY!!!!!!????
I've done that before. Awesome old rigger's knife, too!
This little Victorinox Classic SD isn't pretty, but it lives in my paracord tools box. It got put to work when I made some knife lanyards yesterday. Below are the lanyards I made, one "modeled" by my good ol' Camillus 27.

Might be useful on tops larger than a beer bottle ...
But for a good, cold, refreshing Blue Moon all ya' need is your shirttail !
Unless you're wearing shorts like I was last night ... and used the wife's shirttail !

Did some yard work and laid down some cedar today.
The saw blade on this Victorinox Camper came in handy, too.

Just got my Camillus knife back from Glennbad. So I figured put it to use. Replaced fuel lines and pump on my garden tractor.

Good to see knives actually being put to use, not just filling up our shelves and displays.
Cut that fuel line and make them funnels, boys!
No picture but it's not hard to imagine cutting the stem of a Bell pepper with a black handled, Schrade Walden 182. 1st pepper of the season, used by Miss Joy for seasoning our pasta sauce for our noon meal today.

Edit: did have a picture of the knife a couple days ago next to a pepper plant.

The Sod Buster is more than up to that task! Is yours a 3137 or a 3138?

I have a yellow 3137 with CV. Someday I'll acquire one of its larger brothers.
