Ok, I joined because I found a very cool Sabre Japan pocket knife, along with other trinkets of seemingly similar era, in the attic of my 1942-built bungalow. I wanted to give it to someone on here who would appreciate it, on the condition they also take and be the custodian of a couple of small boxes of what appear to be “treasures” of male children from about the ‘30s/‘40s. One is a box I would compelled to buy from a thrift store in Charlottenburg (Berlin), Germany when I lived there in the ‘90s.

Now, I kind of want to be part of the club. Can I participate?

Still need someone to take on the treasure boxes. I have carried them around the globe with me as I moved for work and cannot best to get rid of them. However, they need a new custodian who will appreciate them and pass them along. I have no children. Anyone??

Welcome to AAPK. Glad to have you aboard.

There's still time to get in on this madness. Hurry and send a PM to Jeffinn and include your mailing address. "Tomorrow at 6:00 pm EST the POS drawing will come to and end."

We can figure out your request later in a thread of it's own.

By The Way, I hope you do realize this is a POS (piece of crap) exchange and the knives traded will be 90% junkers.

Ya say ya don't know how to send a PM? (maybe)

Go to the original post in this thread. On the right hand side you'll see something similar to the picture below. Click on the speech bubble after "Contact" and you will get what you see circled in red. Click on that and it will take you directly to the PM area. You'll probably want to get a copy of "jeffin"'s user name for the destination. Any questions, check back.

Think I sent you a PM.

I have a POC in mind for the trade. Having said that, it could just as easily be a valuable relic. Ha! I’m not in it to make a buck- just the community of it.

You did send me a PM but you need to send it to "jeffinn". He's the head hog at the trough on this Roundtable.

POS Drawing Results
If you're not listed in this list its because I didn't receive your address information in time for the drawing or because you didn't contact me via instant message.
For those of you who are listed I'll be sending you a private message with the address where you should send your POS package.
Have fun!
Thanks.
Jeff

What did you send the messages out on? I don't have any instant message app on my computer…
I only ask because I don't have a PM yet with the address to my victim, I mean the person receiving my wonderful "stuff."

Thank you jeffinn for making the 2020 POS Roundtable happen. You're a good man Charlie Brown.

Richard, your pack of poo will go to the post office tomorrow. I don't think a tracking number will do you any good.

It'll probably take me a couple of days to get everything squared away this week, but treefarmer may not want to ever talk to me again in this forum when he receives the pile of poo I have planned for him. ::stir::
