Two Early Christmas Presents

Post by orvet »

Monday was like any normal Monday, busy, with lots of mail. I didn’t have time to open the mail until the evening. First I opened a box Tom Cosgrove because I was expecting Schrade Cut Co. Barlow from him. He has some really good prices in is store so I bought an honest old Barlow from him. What I didn’t expect when I opened the box was a Christmas present!
From Tom a.jpg
And what a cool present it was! Someone used a 33OT blade and a sheepfoot blade and put them in a 3-1/4” frame with tip bolsters.
Off the top of my hand I cannot think of a Schrade frame that size that used tip bolsters. Very Cool! ::ds::
Here is the present knife with the Schrade Barlow.
From Tom b.jpg
The other package I got was from carrmillus. When I opened the package this is what I saw:
From Carrmillus.jpg
I was stunned! What a gorgeous knife! ::ds::
I am grateful, humbled and amazed to have made such fantastic friend all went out ever meeting in person!
Such as the magic and the charm of AAPK!
Thank you Tom and thank you J.T. you guys are the best! ::tu:: ::tu::

Beautiful gifts and friendships. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Tommy seems to have gone hog wild. That's a fantastic S&M. Almost as nice as the one he sent to Illinois.
