I hesitate to ask this question, but here goes. What makes a green bone green when there is not a trace of green showing on it?

You really can’t tell by the pictures but if you hold one in your hand you can see the Green in the Bone.

I do have green bone knives with traces of green, especially along the edges. So, if my conclusion is right, a green bone knife must have some green showing somewhere even if only a little.

QS, my opinion is when this knives were made 60 to 80 years ago the dye was a Dark Green and over the years they have faded to the colors they are now ::shrug::
