Added another Stag Hen & Rooster to the herd...this one has Damascus blades. Generally speaking, I'm not a big fan of Damascus, but I kind of like the lines on this one...gotta remember to keep it well-oiled, though, since Damascus and the tropical climate where I live don't get along very well (and, the climate always wins unless it's thwarted by some type of protective coating).

The smooth bone handles. The color of the handles. The rifle cartridge shield. What's not to like about that one. Great find ~Q~.

And, finally (meaning this will be my last Mini Trapper for the foreseeable future), a Stanley brand (made in China) with an uncommon serrated spay blade. Notice that the frame on this one is straight, i.e., lacks the graceful curves of most traditional Mini Trappers. The handle is wood with a geometric/rectangular waffle jig pattern, which is also uncommon.

The Monkey wouldn't let me "go out" with a Pacific Rim made Mini-T  but the crazy prices have really put the brakes on new Mini-T acquisitions. Fortune smiled upon me, however, when I happened to win the eBay auction on this Hen & Rooster 212DS quite by accident for a relative pittance (I put in a low bid then forgot all about it and, miracle of miracles, I ended up winning :o). Hopefully now The Monkey can finally relax for awhile and just enjoy the massive pile of Mini-Ts he's accumulated that make up Mini-T Mountain. ::undecided::

Good looking H&R Mini-T "Q". But you know the sedation of the Monkey will be short lived. :)

Added these two to my Mini-T family. Fished them out of the bay as a set. The seller had a "Make Offer" option, so I did, and he accepted it. Both knives are new in the box, they have been handled, But don't appear to have been used or carried. In the first photo, The top one is a 2011 6207W with the Wharncliffe blade. It has the Sawcut Antique Bone handles with the Embossed or raised Case shield. The lower knife is a 2012 6207 Mini-Trapper with Smooth Chestnut Bone handles and has small Script Long Tail "C" Case shield. Both knives have excellent snap on both blades.

Smitty, apparently you're somewhat of a prophet since your prediction came true: Mini-T Monkey made it almost an entire month without buying a new Mini Trapper. Although, to be fair, based on his purchasing history, a month is actually a pretty long time for The Monkey to go without picking up a new Mini-T.

Nothing special about this Parker really...except perhaps the unusual combination of jigged bone on the mark side and smooth bone on the pile side. And, it has only a single (engraved Damascus) blade...so, probably not "officially" a trapper per se. ::undecided::

Anyway, whatever you call it, it conforms to the size & shape of a mini trapper, so I'm posting it here. ::sotb::
