Thanks for the help. ::tu::
No problem, Joe. I thought that was probably what you meant but thought it wouldn't hurt to elaborate anyway.

I'm going to go out a limb here and say that in my opinion, the AAPK knife is the best looking one of the bunch so far and it isn't even finished yet. It's gonna look pretty doggone sweet all polished up and ready to ship. ::ds::

It's going to be a great knife for sure. I hope I'm not shaving when they become available. ::paranoid::

Rs, thanks for laying out the whole 35 sequence.
FRJ, better stop shaving. I did a few years ago, amazing how much 'extra' time you get from this.

I figured this was as good a place as any to plug my complete AAPK forum knife sale: https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/ca ... -paperwork

Let me know before the 2017 knife comes out which is when I'll probably change my mind and keep them ::facepalm::

Just a little tid bit of info.. this is from a lady I spoke with(GEC) about the knives they make and the pictures they post. She said that usually when you see the pictures of the knives they are actually further finished than the pictures show, a delay of sorts on the picture posting... so the 2017 AAPK knife may be polished and ready for packaging... this of course is going off what the lady explained... so far she was correct with my Churchill Cougar Clawed #35 and my Gabon Ebony #35... hope they come sooner than later and I want one badly!

Thanks for sharing that. I kind of suspected that was the case but it's nice to get confirmation. With any luck, by this time next week we'll all have a record on our credit card accounts that says "ALL ABOUT POCKET KNIVES, EFFINGHAM, ILLINOIS"!!

Welcome to the forum and again, thanks for sharing that. ::tu::

Wow, I'm ready to add one of those to my AAPK pocketknife collection - nice! OH

EDIT! Apparently the forum got lost with my most recent reads so it skipped me way ahead in this thread. I was going to put the order through for Scott's knife when I ordered my own but KJ has already handled it.

KJ can you let me know how much is left for Scott's knife to cover the price, besides any donations already offered? I'd be willing to cover the rest of the cost of Scott's knife (so if it's $30 in donations already I'll cover the balance plus shipping which should come out to about $105-ish all told). Just let me know how much is left and I can send you a paypal F&F for it.

It looks like some of the shields are centered and some closer to the front bolster. How does one get a centered shield preference on these orders or is that even possible? Just wondering before I order one. Thanks!
