My sterling adam/nake knife is just like the Automatic Knife Co. of Middletown CT., in how it opens each blade.

It is indeed mother-of-pearl and is crack-free.The blades have some scratches on them from sharpening but are full.One of my nicest MOP knives.Sorry but it isn't for sale. Unfortunately the Schmactenberg knife has a piece missing from one horn handle and the secondary blade is broken.

Thanks man! I too like anything more unusual for sure. I have a collection of 'pencil knives' as well. Maybe we should post some like you said (on another post) But here are mine anyhow.
I have 2 Lever operated knives one has what I think are Gutta Percha handles and the other is marked Solid Gold. Both are marked Lever Cutlery Brooklyn NY. Page 165 of the latest Goins'.

Thanks, no it's chipped but it does not matter to me at all. I have seen 5 in all the years collecting, my 2 yours I think Miller Bros has one and one that I missed out on that was on ebay, price went higher then I thought it would and blew it!

Hey guys, this just in! I have a new 'Lever' open knife. This is a Bonsa made German lever knife. Main blade stamped 'Autofix' on blade. This has 1/3 brass Linders then all pearl. Unfortunately one scale is cracked. Maybe I can get Bill DeShivs to rescale one side?

Here are a few that fall in the lever pellet catagory. They include lever,nap, leppington, wiltzen hatch and english pellets . There is also a relatively new pellet variation with flat lifts these were used in medical kits for the canadian troops. My guess is that in field conditions it allowed opening and keeping the blade and keeping it cleaner in an emergency by just using the lift. I added a parts lever skeleton to show a bit of the mech of these. The Wiltzen with the big wheel bycycles only has one blade but it is still rare. The Hatch versions were made underthe Wilt zen patent but by the Hatch company. Sorry to be so tardy with my post but I just found this thread I guess I should stop by more. The levers were made by Nap for Lever. Canal st before closing ressurected the ring turn I have some of them including in pearl but they are in another spot if someone wantsto see them just let me know. LT
